The dissemination goal is to provide external organisations with high-level information on progress, strategic direction and topics of political relevance.
Dissemination activities has ensured wide external communication on the BLUE MED Feasibility Study across the whole air transport community (ATM Community, Member States and Institutions, General Public). It has promoted high visibility of the BLUE MED initiative and FAB vision, its objectives and major results.
BLUE MED partners have also ensured that an appropriate flow of information within their parent organisations has been maintained and that top management has received regular updates so as to support project results.

The dissemination process was developed and presented to the air transport community through the following means:

  • Development of communication tools (website, newsletters, final brochure);
  • Publication of articles and press releases;

  • Participation in major European/international aeronautics events (conferences, workshops, exhibitions);
  • Final dissemination workshop.

Dissemination was addressed to the main stakeholders (also outside the European region) such as ANSPs, CAA, Military, Industry, Airports, Research Centres, Professional Associations and Unions, as well as international organisations, to lay the foundations for the Feasibility Study results, to be followed by the Project Definition and Implementation Phases.

The results of BLUE MED Phases 2 and 3 Plans are included in a key deliverable (D5) released in June 2008.

The final "BLUE MED Feasibility Report" will be released upon completion of the project activities (end June 2008).
