BLUE MED FAB Flight Efficiency Plan 2015 presented in Rome to the Airspace Users

On the 20th of April 2016 the first BLUE MED FAB Flight Efficiency Plan regarding year 2015 was presented to the Airspace Users during the first BLUE MED Customer Care meeting held at Rome Fiumicino Airport.

The Flight Efficiency Plan, aiming to cultivate a closer cooperation between the ANS Providers within BLUE MED and its Users, shows the improvements within BLUE MED Airspace during 2015. The main improvements were achieved in the three areas of en route airspace design, optimization in airports operations and performance awareness.

BLUE MED Member States, in cooperation with Israel, are strongly committed to deliver network implementations and provide environmental benefits in terms of Flight Efficiency: the aim of the BLUE MED FAB Flight Efficiency Plan is to regularly keep Airspace Users updated over such improvements and to get from them feed-back and support to reduce the environmental impact and maximize BLUE MED ANSPs’ efforts.
