BLUE MED ANSP Committee met in Malta with excellent news of improvement for the Airspace Users

On the 5th of July 2016 the BLUE MED ANSP Committee Members, gathered in Malta at MATS premises for their usual quarterly meeting, had the opportunity to analyze together with the Network Manager – who joined the GB Members for the occasion – a first review of Summer 2016 Performance. Taking into account the first two months of the season, May and June, the figures clearly show significant improvements in en-route delay.

The activities planned in March for the approaching summer, which were expected to provide relevant benefits on ATFM delay, are actually working. With a delay’s reduction by an average of around 80%, ANSPC Members noted and commented on the respective virtuous operational behaviours which determined such brilliant results and discussed on how to keep such trend through the end of the summer and further.
